Announcement: Resolution of DOI Assignment Issues and Enhancement of Article Visibility
Dear Readers and Contributors,
We are pleased to announce a significant enhancement to the publishing process of the Journal of Central Asia and the Caucasus. After a period of technical adjustments, we have successfully resolved the issues related to the assignment of Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to articles published in our journal.
Effective immediately, all articles submitted to and published by the Journal will be assigned DOIs, ensuring that each piece of work receives a unique identifier which aids in increasing its visibility and accessibility across digital platforms. This development is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the dissemination and impact of research published within our journal.
Benefits of DOI Assignment:
- Increased Discoverability: DOIs provide a persistent link to content online, making it easier for researchers and scholars to access and cite the work.
- Improved Citation Metrics: With DOIs, the citation metrics of articles can be more accurately tracked, enhancing the visibility of authors' research.
- Long-term Accessibility: DOIs ensure that articles remain findable despite changes in location (URLs) over time, safeguarding academic contributions for the future.
We believe that this update will significantly contribute to the scholarly impact and readability of the research we publish. We encourage our authors to take advantage of this feature, which not only facilitates wider dissemination of their work but also aligns with global standards in scholarly publishing.
For any inquiries regarding the DOI assignment or any other submission concerns, please contact our editorial office at editor@ca-c.org.
Thank you for your continued support and contributions to the Journal of Central Asia and the Caucasus. We look forward to bringing your research to a global audience with enhanced visibility and impact.
Warm regards,
